The El Membrillo solar park, with a total installed capacity of 7.21 MWp, was completed in 2021 and is located about 30 km southwest of the Chilean capital Santiago. The power plant was built under the PMGD scheme, a distributed energy source whose territorial diversification ensures Chile's energy security. Solek Group continues to own the plant and also performs its professional management, i.e. provides O&M services, to ensure that it is fully operational and helps meet the Chilean government's energy goals of becoming carbon neutral by 2050.
