The La Muralla solar park, with a total installed capacity of 2.99 MWp, was completed in 2021 and is located about 30 km southwest of the Chilean capital Santiago. Solek Group sold it to the investment company Rockville Energy Holdings SpA of the Rockville Capital Group. Solek continues to provide expert management of the plant, i.e. O&M services, so that as a fully operational plant it will help meet the Chilean government's energy goals of becoming carbon neutral by 2050. The power plant is in PMGD mode, a distributed energy resource whose territorial diversification also ensures Chile's energy security.
