The Santa Laura Solar Park, with an installed capacity of 2.99 MWp, will generate up to 6.5 million kilowatt hours of electricity per year. It is located in the Valparaíso region near the town of Cabildo, about 100 km north of the capital Santiago. The project is the third to be built in Chile by Czech entrepreneur Zdeněk Sobotka's Solek company. Built and connected to the grid in 2018, Solek sold the plant to French investment company Reden Solar a year later in 2019.
