Meco Chillan 2021

The Meco Chillan solar park, with a total installed capacity of 7.2 MWp, is another SOLEK plant near the town of Quirihue in the Ñuble region south of the Chilean capital Santiago. The development of photovoltaics there goes hand in hand with Chile's national climate goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2050. The Meco Chillan project was completed in 2021 and built again under the PMGD regime, i.e. distributed energy resources, by diversifying its territory Chile ensures its energy security.
