The Los Paltos solar park, with a total installed capacity of 2.98 MWp, was connected to the grid in the Valparaiso region, north of the Chilean capital Santiago, in 2020. The project is another in a series from the SOLEK Group's portfolio built under the Pequeños Medios de Generación Distribuida (PMGD) scheme, a distributed energy resource whose territorial diversification ensures Chile's energy security, and is also in line with the government's goal of becoming a carbon-neutral nation by 2050.
